SBEA 2006 News

SCBEA Members Elected to SBEA Offices
October 20, 2006


Congratulations to SCBEA members, Julie McCraw and Peggy Bozard, who were elected as officers for the Southern Business Education Association for 2007 and to Ann Godfrey, who will serve as the SBEA Junior Representative to NBEA.

Julie McCraw, Spartanburg High School, was elected to serve as Secretary for SBEA. Julie also serves as SCBEA State Adviser.

Peggy Bozard, Colleton County High School, was elected to serve as Vice President for SBEA. Peggy also serves as SCBEA Past President.

SBEA POSTSECONDARY TEACHER OF THE YEAR
October 20, 2006


Congratulations to Carla Haigler, Office Systems Technology instructor at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Carla was named as the Southern Business Education Association Postsecondary Teacher of the Year at the SBEA Conference held at the Sheraton Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, on October 20, 2006. Carla currently serves as the Treasurer of SCBEA.
